Dr. Lawrence is a nationally recognized speaker for Standard Process and a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Master Herbalist, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner©, Doctor of Naturopathy, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, has a PhD in Natural Medicine, and is a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. She is the Director of Clinical Education for DirectDX.net and has several years’ experience with whole food nutrition, herbal nutrition, functional blood work, hormone testing and hair analysis. She specializes in endocrine disorders and digestive issues. She co-manages patients with several practitioners and offers telehealth visits as well for her out of state patients. Dr. Russell Jaffe

Russ Jaffe has more than 40 years of experience contributing to molecular biology and clinical diagnostics.  He has pioneered “lymphocyte tests of immune function and hypersensitivity” and is focused on providing functional, predictive tests and procedures designed to improve the precision of both diagnosis and of treatment outcomes.

Dr. Bill Hemmer has owned and operated a successful integrative healthcare practice in Tuscola, Illinois for 25 of his 33 years in professional life. He combines Chiropractic, Functional Medicine and Regenerative Medicine to enhance the body’s Innate Power to heal itself.

Dr. David Anderson graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1994 and has been a diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition since 2009.  He completed his MS in Healthcare Management in 2014 and his MBA in 2015 from Globe University/MN School of Business.  After practicing in central Minnesota for almost 20 years, he transitioned to academia, where he has developed curricula and taught courses from business to bio-medical ethics to biological sciences at several colleges and universities throughout the US.  He regularly teaches post-graduate and post-doctoral courses and has published papers on nutritional management of stress and the human microbiome.

Dr. Kelly Halderman

Microglial Activation in Autoimmunity - Signs, Symptoms, and Strategies

Dr. Halderman graduated from medical school in 2007 and completed a Family Practice Medicine internship with the University of Minnesota. She has a Naturopathic Medical Degree from Kingdom College of Natural Health where she is the current Academic Dean of Students. She holds certification in MethylGenetic Nutrition by the Nutrigenetic Research Institute and certification from The American Functional Neurology Institute in Functional Neurology and Neurofeedback. She is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, President and founder of The American Association of Nutraceutical Formulators, as well as a member of The American Medical Association and Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Dr. Halderman is also board certified in Clinical Nutrition by the CNCB, has certification in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University and health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Dr. Steve Conway
Lecture Title:

Documentation/Ethics/Risk Management

A second-generation chiropractor whose passion is enhancing and protecting the chiropractic profession. He is a partner in Madison Wisconsin based DeWitt Ross & Stevens, one of the largest law firms in Madison. His law practice consists primarily of health law and government relations with a strong focus on Medicare.

Dr. Conway has worked Dr. Michael Jacklitch, CMS and all of the Medicare Contractors to develop a universal national document for chiropractic documentation procedures that specifically outlines the required documentation necessary to demonstrate medical necessity of chiropractic care . He has also provided instruction to MAC reviewers to fully understand what documentation should be in the chiropractic records submitted for services.

Having served as a regulator with the Wisconsin Chiropractic Examining board for nearly a decade he fully understands the responsibilities of each state board in protecting the public and maintaining the reputation of the chiropractic profession.

When in full time chiropractic practice his focus included chiropractic occupational health. Obtaining his diplomate in occupational health he assisted many local and national companies with chiropractic ergonomic programs. He was one of the first chiropractors to speak at the national safety congress and has had over 6000 industrial representatives attend his injury prevention programs.

Rebecca McKinnon

Rebecca McKinnon is the Clinical Specialist for Advanced Micronutrition, and is a clinical management and clinical marketing professional with extensive experience and training in healthcare. Dr. Jurgelewicz is involved in the research, coordination, and execution of new product development and product reformulation as well as clinical and technical support for Designs for Health. He has been studying nutrition and wellness for the past 17 years and is an adjunct clinical instructor for the renowned Master of Science in Human Nutrition program at the University of Bridgeport. He has a B.S. degree in Health & Wellness, a B.S. degree in Anatomy, and is a Doctor of Chiropractic.
