Speakers
The Relationship between the Spine, Spinal Cord, Autonomic Nervous System and Immune Function
Delilah Renegar, MD, DC has been practicing internal medicine since 1989. Dr. Renegar earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, graduating with honors. She received her medical degree, Summa Cum Laude, at University of Arts, Science and Technology and her chiropractic medicine degree at the National University of Health Science (where she was awarded the Joseph Janse “Outstanding Graduate” award).
Prior to joining the Aligned Modern Health team in 2019, Dr. Renegar was in private practice in the far western suburbs of Chicago. In addition to her current role at Aligned Modern Health as both Director of Functional Medicine and Physical Medicine, she also serves on the post-doctoral faculty of both National University of Health Sciences and the University of Western States, and is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Renegar is currently secretary/treasurer of the ACA Council on Nutrition and past President of the Council on Nutrition and the American Board of Chiropractic Internists. Her special interests include preventive health, education and motivation.

Dr. Boyd is a Naturopathic Physician and Certified Nutrition Specialist® professional specializing in thyroid disorders, fertility, and men’s health. He also specializes in digestive disorders and autoimmune disease. He has spent years researching the field of nutrigenomics as well as the gut microbiome and tailors his treatment approaches around these complex fields.
Dr. Boyd graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is an Adjunct Professor teaching Nutrition & Diet Therapy at Trinity Washington University.

He has over 30 years of experience in clinical nutrition and has earned numerous certifications and degrees along the way. He is a certified practitioner by the Institute for Functional Medicine and he holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Human Nutrition, where he has served as guest lecturer. He also holds certifications in clinical nutrition with the AMA College of Nutrition and The International and American Council of Clinical Nutrition and he has chaired the Council for Nutritional Education for the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors for the past 5 years. Dr Bump continues in private practice in Northern New Jersey, as well as lecturing internationally on clinical nutrition offering unique insight from a functional and structural perspective.

Dr. Tom Roselle, DC,PAK, PAc, DCCN, DCBCN is currently Director of Roselle Center for Healing, an integrative wellness center incorporating chiropractic, applied kinesiology, acupuncture, nutrition, and massage therapy. The Clinic has been serving the community and worldwide since 1985. He graduated in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree from Kent State University. He went on to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. Since graduation, he has received two diplomates in nutrition, is Board eligible for diplomate status in applied kinesiology and holds license to practice acupuncture. He is the producer of the twice Emmy TM Award nominated PBS documentary on his specific approach to health and wellness, “Ageless Health” and author of an acclaimed self-help book “Ageless Health: Health Is A Do-It-To-Yourself Program.”

Dr. Halderman graduated from medical school in 2007 and completed a Family Practice Medicine internship with the University of Minnesota. She has a Naturopathic Medical Degree from Kingdom College of Natural Health where she is the current Academic Dean of Students. She holds certification in MethylGenetic Nutrition by the Nutrigenetic Research Institute and certification from The American Functional Neurology Institute in Functional Neurology and Neurofeedback. She is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, President and founder of The American Association of Nutraceutical Formulators, as well as a member of The American Medical Association and Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Dr. Halderman is also board certified in Clinical Nutrition by the CNCB, has certification in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University and health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Dr. Wally Schmitt is a chiropractic physician practicing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He graduated from Duke University (1970) and the National College of Chiropractic (1974). Russ Jaffe has more than 40 years of experience contributing to molecular biology and clinical diagnostics. He has pioneered “lymphocyte tests of immune function and hypersensitivity” and is focused on providing functional, predictive tests and procedures designed to improve the precision of both diagnosis and of treatment outcomes.
